Eagle Mountain: county court

A municipal courtroom on Saratoga Road, and only for Saratoga Springs.
Saratoga Springs Justice Court is the municipal court at 367 South Saratoga Road. The city lists that physical address for the court clerk. City DUI cases filed inside Saratoga Springs are heard here. It is a city court. It is not Utah County Justice Court, and it is not Lehi Justice Court, even though all three hear misdemeanors in Utah County.
People are stopped on Redwood Road, on Pioneer Crossing, and near the Lehi line, then have to be at work the next morning. Which agency wrote the citation, and which court is printed on it, matters more than the road you remember. Lehi files in Lehi Justice Court at 153 North 100 East. If that name is on your paper, you are on a different calendar. A Saratoga Springs caption is the docket at 367 South Saratoga Road.
Most first-offense DUIs in Utah are Class B misdemeanors handled in justice court. Saratoga Springs Justice Court is where those city cases are filed. A charge that is stepped up because of a prior DUI, an injury, or a child in the car can land in district court instead. Dallin will tell you which file you have after he sees the paperwork. He will not guess from the city name alone.
367 South Saratoga Road means the city court
If that is the court address, you are in Saratoga Springs Justice Court. An Eagle Mountain caption is not this building. Use the court named on the citation, then the address printed on the notice.
Often online. Sometimes Saratoga Road.
Most hearings at this court are held virtually or hybrid. The city says most court business can be handled electronically, and that private-attorney cases and special requests are held by Webex video. The court can still require you at 367 South Saratoga Road. The notice controls.
Next door, a different court, in Provo.
Eagle Mountain does not have its own justice court. At the January 20, 2026 Eagle Mountain City Council meeting, the Administrative Office of the Courts told the council that cases from a city without a justice court go to the county justice court, and that this is Eagle Mountain's situation. Those cases are in Utah County Justice Court, not at 367 South Saratoga Road.
Utah County lists that court at 151 South University Avenue, Suite 3300, in Provo. If the notice prints a different street, use the notice. This page does not send an Eagle Mountain case to the Saratoga Springs door. A Lehi caption is Lehi's court. The name on the citation is the check.

Match the notice to the court name
Saratoga Springs Justice Court should name 367 South Saratoga Road when the date is in that building. An Eagle Mountain caption belongs to Utah County Justice Court. Appearing on Saratoga Road does not put you on the county calendar.
-
You are told the charge and your rights
The court advises you of the accusation and of the right to counsel. A common path is to plead not guilty, or to ask for time to hire a lawyer, and to come back when the defense is actually underway.
-
Ask how that date is being held
Most hearings at these courts are held virtually or hybrid. Dallin prefers online hearings, and many clients join from work instead of taking the morning off. If the court wants you in the room, the notice will say so, and it will give the address.
