Springville DUI Lawyer | Springville Justice Court DUI Defense
Springville files its DUI cases in Springville Justice Court, at 110 South Main Street. Mapleton does not have a courthouse of its own. The city sends those justice-court matters to the same Main Street court. Dallin Littlefield defends cases filed there and tells you what the next date is for.

Most hearings virtual
Springville's court. Mapleton's cases come here too.
Springville Justice Court hears the city's misdemeanor docket from 110 South Main Street. Court clerks are on the first floor. A DUI charged inside Springville, with this court named on the citation, is this file. It is a municipal court, not Utah County Justice Court, and not the district court.
Mapleton is the neighboring city to the east, and it does not keep a separate justice court. Mapleton says all of its justice-court services are provided through Springville Justice Court, at this same address. A stop on Mapleton's streets can still land on the Springville calendar. Read the court name. If it says Springville Justice Court, you are not looking for a Mapleton building that is not there.
South Utah County has more than one justice court along I-15. Provo has its own. Payson, farther south, has its own. Orem's city court is on Center Street, and the county court is at 151 South University Avenue, Suite 3300, in Provo. If the notice prints a different address, use the notice. A citation that names one of those courts is not the Springville docket, even if you live in Springville or were driving home from somewhere else.
Most first-offense DUIs in Utah are Class B misdemeanors handled in justice court. Springville Justice Court is where those Springville cases, and the Mapleton cases the city routes here, are heard. A prior DUI, an injury, or a child in the vehicle can change the classification, and those cases are filed in district court. Dallin reads the charging paper before he tells you which calendar you are on.
There is no second courthouse to guess at
If the paperwork says Springville Justice Court, the appearance is tied to 110 South Main, whether the stop was in Springville or Mapleton. Showing up at a Mapleton city office does not put you on the calendar.
A prediction of the result
Nothing here promises a dismissal, a reduction, or a particular sentence. The stop, the testing, and the charge that was filed are what the case turns on.
The first setting is where the charge is stated.
It is not the day the case is finished.

Match the caption to Springville Justice Court
Bring the citation and anything else you were handed. The court name should say Springville Justice Court, at 110 South Main Street, if this is your file. A Provo, Orem, or Payson caption is a different court.

Rights, then a plea or time to hire counsel
The judge advises you of your rights, including the right to a lawyer, and asks how you intend to plead. Many people plead not guilty so the case can move forward with counsel, or they ask for time to hire a lawyer before entering a plea.

Most hearings at this court are held virtually or hybrid, so many people do not take a full day off to sit on Main Street. That is how the court has been holding a lot of its docket, on Webex. It is not a promise that your date is remote. If the notice says to come to 110 South Main, plan on the first floor. If it is a link, treat it as court: on time, somewhere quiet, citation in front of you, and a camera and microphone that work.
The consultation itself is by phone or video. Littlefield Legal is based in Saratoga Springs and does not ask you to come in for the first conversation. Utah also runs a driver-license process on its own short timeline, separate from the criminal case. On the consult, Dallin tells you what to look for in the paperwork so that clock is not ignored while the court date is still ahead.
